We at Primal Audio would like to take this oppourtunity to pay
respect to a person who has been a major influence on our designs. Kevin
O'Connor is probably the most knowledgeable tube designer alive today.
His company London Power (WWW.LONDONPOWER.COM)
manufactures some very unique tube amp designs and Kevin is the author
of The Ultimate Tone series of books about tube amp design. We recommend
these books to anyone interested in tube amp design. Trust us, if you
have a question about tube amps you will find the answer in these books.
We see many of his designs and ideas in amps both mass produced and
boutique yet Kevin doesn't always receive credit. Primal did not want to
make the same mistake. Kevin is a true educator and great person. If you
e-mail or call he will stop what he is doing and take time to help
you. We had the good fortune to be invited to his home where Kevin and his wife Wendy, although they never met us before treated us as if we were old friends. We truly value Kevin's assistance and he grills a great steak too. |
